Fabienne Justel at her home in Lannion - this 39-year-old widow is currently fighting to retrieve her dead husband's sperm and undergo IVF treatment to have a child. Posthumous artificial insemination is forbidden in France. The Rennes Family Affairs Tribunal will decide this month to refuse or accept Justel's request. Her husband, engineer Dominique Justel, who always wanted to father children, deposited sperm in French sperm bank CECOS in April 2006 under advice from his oncologist. The couple planned to have IVF treatment after they were married but Dominique died suddenly three months after the wedding. Lannion, FRANCE - September 2009./0909221620 Photo via Newscom
